My name is Lydia Wharton, and I am a published illustrator, animator, and concept artist. Storytelling has also always been a huge influence within my art, which is why I have recently earned a degree in Animation and VFX from Chapman University. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, and have been making art for most of my lifetime. My works are often inspired by books, comics, and cartoons I grew up watching and still love to this day. This is one of the reasons I am the published illustrator of two children's books, where kids can be inspired by my own art just as I was during my own childhood. I hope to create a world within my works that will immerse and inspire others within. In terms of a career, I am planning to pursue a character design, concept art, or storyboarding position with an animation studio. I cannot wait to get my ideas out there and see where my career takes me!
